The ST-70 needs no cooling fans. This provides silent operation, so the only sound to be heard is the sound of the customers.
The touch screen and front panel are sealed together for a spill-proof design. Because the machine doesn't need vent holes, it stays clean inside, providing even better reliability.
The fast USB 2.0 interfaces (480 Mbps) allow the connection of peripherals that require high-speed transmission. The optional PCMCIA card bus is a fast, 32-bit bus.
Maintenance has never been easier. The hard disk is accessible by the side cover: replacement takes only seconds. The external interfaces are located at the front of the machine, which makes it easy to connect and disconnect peripherals.
The ST-70's super bright TFT screen has a wider viewing angle, making operation quicker and more comfortable.
